KÜN Campus Project

On July 5, 2021, the KÜN Campus Project, which began as an R&D initiative supported by the Scientific Research Commission of Cappadocia University, aims to conduct scientific research on buildings located on the campuses of Cappadocia University that are significant in terms of their historical and architectural features, to understand how they have been preserved from history to the present day, and to present images showing the past and present conditions of these buildings. In this context, a website introducing these buildings will be created with the aim of disseminating the accumulated knowledge. Ultimately, the activities carried out within the scope of the project will raise awareness about these structures, and Cappadocia University students and staff will be more conscious about passing them on to future generations.

Another objective of the project is to make an original contribution to the literature through scientific research on the campuses of Cappadocia University. It is intended that the report prepared at the end of the research will be converted into an academic publication to contribute to science.
