Our Center provided support for the opening program of an international design workshop bringing together architecture students and academics from Italy and Turkey between June 21–28, 2025. Organized jointly by Sapienza University and Bilkent University with the support of Cappadocia University, the event attracted attention with its structure centered on interdisciplinary interaction and academic sharing.
The opening seminars organized within the scope of the workshop were held at the Mustafapaşa Oktay Sinanoğlu Conference Hall; the program included academic presentations on architecture education, design processes, and examples from different geographical regions. Faculty members and students from Italy and Turkey had the opportunity to share their methods and approaches regarding the work to be carried out during the workshop.
The design workshop, conceived within the framework of international cooperation, aims to provide participants with an environment for thinking, producing, and discussing through different cultural and spatial contexts. The workshop program, which incorporates the historical and cultural fabric of Cappadocia into the educational process, facilitates the sharing of application-based experiences as well as academic knowledge production.
